Evil Guitars

I tried these strings mostly for fun. Aurora are color coated strings, and they are different.

The look feel and sounds different

The Look

Cool colors very bright and shiny. The coating seems firm, but can be "scratched off" especial on the wounded strings.

The feeling

It's like strings with a silk coating. Very smooth and "sliky". It is very different from normal nickel strings. You can realy feel the coating

The sound

Not a bright and metallic as a new pari of nickel strings. But sounds nice and "clean"

I have added a recording of a Black pair of Aurora size 009-011-016-024-032-042 mounted on my Jem10th. See also pict below.

First some clean sound, secondly with some distrotion on. Playe through a Behringer Vamp Amp.

The Pick

The pick used is a Carbon Nylon 0.88, to hard for me (see also pics below), Yngwie Fucking Malmsteen porberly likes it. Normally i do prefere Dunlop 0.88, ther are more "soft" and flexible to play with.
